The Swain County Tourism Development Authority and Appalachian Rivers Aquarium are excited to announce, new for this year, the Riverfront Family Fest!

Riverfront Family Fest is Bryson City’s new summer tradition—bringing families together every Saturday from Memorial Day through Labor Day for free, easygoing fun by the river. Held at the Appalachian Rivers Aquarium in Bryson City, the festival features a bouncy house, cornhole, lawn games, and kid-friendly activities, with special additions like face painting, educational demos, and local craft vendors on select dates. Set along the beautiful Tuckasegee River, it’s the perfect place to relax, play, and make the most of a summer day in the Smokies. And best of all, it's FREE admission!
