Fishing at Kephart Prong

About:

Kephart Prong is a small stream located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This stream offers a unique fishing experience with little fishing pressure because of the high-difficulty access to the creek. For those willing to do the challenge it offers an ideal spot for anglers seeking solitude while fishing.

Since Kephart Prong has little fishing pressure, it has an abundance of Rainbow and Brook trout that are eager to hit dry flies. While you are fishing in this creek you may come across little pieces of history, the remains of an old logging community are still there.
