Is Deep Creek Pet Friendly?

Dogs are welcome in the campground, picnic areas, and along the roads at Deep Creek, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. However, they must be kept on a leash at all times for their safety, the protection of wildlife, and the comfort of other visitors. Dogs are not allowed on the trails at Deep Creek, nor on most hiking trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with the exception of the Oconaluftee River Trail, and the Gatlinburg Trail. Is the Nantahala River and National Forest pet-friendly?

The Nantahala National Forest is a pet-friendly public area. Dogs are allowed to join their owners at the pet-friendly Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, however outfitters in the Nantahala Gorge do not permit pets on the shuttle or on their equipment including rafts

Are the Trails Along the Blue Ridge Parkway Pet-Friendly?
