Fishing on Indian Creek
About:
Indian Creek in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a less than popular fishing spot due to the rapid elevation gain, but it does have multiple trout species in the creek. When fishing here it’s recommended to fish about 100 yards above the confluence, that’s where the fish tend to be more active.
In Indian Creek, you can find three different species of trout. Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout who likes the high elevations better, and Brown Trout who likes the lower elevations better. For those anglers that are wanting a secluded fishing spot with various trout and a little challenging, this is the perfect place.
