The Little Tennessee (Little T’s) River begins in Northeast Georgia and flows through the mountains of Western North Carolina. It runs along the southern border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and eventually reaches Fontana Lake. Spanning a total of 135 miles, the Little Tennessee River is known for being a native fish conservation, supporting over 100 species of native fish.
There are several access points to the river near Bryson City including Rattlesnake Creek, Wiggins Creek, and Sawmill Creek. These access points provide multiple opportunities for anglers to enjoy this fishing destination. Water flow in the Little Tennessee River are consistent throughout the year so it makes for great wade fishing or drift boat fishing.
